The invention belongs to the technical field of glass curtain wall cleaning, and particularly discloses a terrain-adaptive glass curtain wall cleaning robot which comprises a first walking unit, a second walking unit and a third walking unit which are matched with one another, and rotating buffer devices connected with the first walking unit and the third walking unit respectively are arranged on the two sides of the second walking unit; driving devices are arranged on the first walking unit, the second walking unit and the third walking unit, and solar panels are arranged on the top surfaces of the first walking unit, the second walking unit and the third walking unit; the first walking unit is provided with a control device and a detection device, the second walking unit is provided with a cleaning device, and the third walking unit is provided with a recycling and filtering device. The first walking unit, the second walking unit and the third walking unit span obstacles on a to-be-cleaned surface by rotating the buffer device according to scanning of a camera in the detection device in the advancing process, so that the glass curtain wall cleaning robot can adapt to glass curtain walls of different terrains; and the cleaning robot can conveniently clean the glass curtain walls in different terrains in all directions.
