The invention discloses a road joint cutting device. The road joint cutting device comprises a rack, a driving assembly, a cone pulley group, a flywheel, an idle pulley, a shifting wheel assembly and a cutting assembly, the cone pulley set comprises a first cone pulley and a second cone pulley which are installed on the rack, and the driving assembly drives the first cone pulley to rotate. A first fixing shaft is arranged on the machine frame, the idle wheel is installed on the first fixing shaft, the wheel shifting assembly drives the idle wheel to move horizontally along the first fixing shaft, a second fixing shaft is arranged on the machine frame, the flywheel is installed on the second fixing shaft, and the second bevel wheel drives the flywheel to rotate. The cutting assembly comprises a cutting disc installed on the rack, and a flywheel drives the cutting disc to rotate. According to the road joint cutting device, transmission between the driving assembly and the flywheel is achieved through the first cone pulley, the second cone pulley and the idle pulley, energy can be stored through the flywheel, and the transmission ratio can be rapidly changed by adjusting the position of the idle pulley, so that high-speed rotation of the cutting disc can be achieved under the condition that the driving assembly is low in power; and road joint cutting operation is completed.
