The invention discloses a side slope anchoring device and an anchoring method thereof.The side slope anchoring device comprises an anchor hole and an anchor rod, and the anchor hole comprises a reaming section formed at the bottom of the anchor hole and a reducing section connecting the reaming section and the ground; a control end and an anchoring end are formed at two ends of the anchor rod, the control end is arranged outside the anchor hole, and the anchoring end extends into the anchor hole; a radial hole is formed in the anchoring end, and a rotating rod is hinged in the radial hole; an axial hole is formed in the axis of the anchor rod and penetrates through the radial hole and the control end, a control rod is arranged in the axial hole in a sleeved mode, the rotating rod is driven by the control rod to rotate, and therefore the side face of the rotating rod abuts against the inner wall of the reaming section to fix the anchor rod in the anchor hole. The invention further discloses an anchoring method using the side slope anchoring device. The device can provide more reliable and stable anchoring force, and can adapt to anchor holes with different gradients.
