The preparation method of the inorganic decorative plate comprises the following steps: S100, preparing a base material, namely, preliminarily mixing 35-45 parts by weight of gravel, 15-18 parts by weight of magnesium ore powder, 12-20 parts by weight of silicon powder, 20-30 parts by weight of white cement, 3-6 parts by weight of plant fibers and 2-5 parts by weight of redispersible latex powder, adding 3-4 parts by weight of a water reducing agent, 2-5 parts by weight of cellulose ether, 1-3 parts by weight of a water repellent, 1-2 parts by weight of a defoaming agent and 1-4 parts by weight of an alkali inhibitor, and stirring to obtain the base material; a base material is obtained; s200, preparing a color material; s300, processing the decorative layer; s400, processing a structural layer; and S500, maintenance, demolding and post-care are conducted, and the inorganic decorative plate is obtained.
