According to the expansive soil slope flexible ecological supporting structure and the construction method, the supporting structure comprises a composite base plate, anchor rods, a water intercepting/draining ditch and a water circulation system, the composite base plate of the supporting structure is of an interlayer structure composed of a water draining plate, a sponge layer and a polystyrene foam plate, and the water draining plate is connected with the sponge layer through nails; the sponge layer is tightly connected with the polystyrene foam board through polyethylene foaming material glue, a round pipe channel used for containing the flow guide pipe is reserved in the bottom of the sponge layer, the anchor rods are arranged at set positions in a regular hexagon shape, and the water interception/drainage ditches are formed in the top and the bottom of the slope. And the interception/drainage ditch is connected with the water circulation system. According to the method, the water content of the expansive soil in the slope is controlled within a certain range, a small amount of deformation is allowed to be generated by the structure, the deformation amount of the expansive soil slope is always within a standard allowed range, and the purposes of controlling expansion with softness and protecting the slope in a green mode are achieved.
