The invention relates to an installation mode of a clamp and an installation mode of a photovoltaic component. The installation mode of the clamp comprises the steps that a first clamping part and a second clamping part are fixedly connected; the upper cover plate is taken, and the limiting part and the limiting matching part are matched in an abutting mode; in the fourth direction, the upper cover plate is driven to move in the direction close to the lower cover plate, and the limiting part slides along the side wall of the limiting matching part; and the upper cover plate is fixedly connected with the lower cover plate. The limiting part and the limiting matching part which extend in the fourth direction and abut against each other are arranged, so that the upper cover plate and the lower cover plate can synchronously move along with deformation of the photovoltaic module, the risk that the size of the clamping space in the third direction is greatly changed is reduced, and therefore the stability of the size of the clamping space in the third direction is improved; therefore, the clamping stability of the upper cover plate and the lower cover plate to the photovoltaic module is improved, the structural stability and the working stability of the photovoltaic component are improved, and the service life of the photovoltaic component is prolonged.
