The invention discloses self-compacting concrete and a preparation method thereof.The self-compacting concrete is prepared from, by weight, 200-280 parts of cement, 90-110 parts of fly ash, 35-45 parts of mineral powder, 800-850 parts of fine aggregate, 800-850 parts of coarse aggregate, 6.2-10.4 parts of water reducing agent and 100-112 parts of water, the coarse aggregate is a composition of natural coarse aggregate and modified recycled coarse aggregate, and the modified recycled coarse aggregate is a mixture of modified recycled coarse aggregate and modified recycled coarse aggregate. The mass of the modified recycled coarse aggregate accounts for 10-30% of the total mass of the coarse aggregate, and the modified recycled coarse aggregate is obtained by soaking a recycled coarse aggregate in nano-silica sol and then performing carbonization treatment. The self-compacting concrete prepared by the invention not only has better compressive strength, but also has better durability and freeze-thaw resistance, and can be suitable for constructional engineering in various environments.
