System and method for storing and dispensing flowable material
A system for applying a flowable material to a surface includes an applicator and a storage compartment. The storage compartment may have a housing and a cover that engage with each other to form an interior cavity containing flowable material. The applicator receives the storage compartment and has a pusher feature to force the housing to collapse the housing. As the housing collapses, the flowable material is expelled from the storage compartment. The applicator may be a reusable applicator in which the storage compartment may be used and reloaded, or a single-use disposable applicator.
