The method comprises the steps of material preparation; installing embedded parts and pouring concrete; polishing the concrete surface; splicing the steel-wood combined members; and wood wrapping and embedding appearance surface treatment. According to the wood wrapping and inlaying structure based on the concrete column and the construction method, antique decoration can be better conducted on concrete, the appearance characteristics and the hand feeling characteristics of the wood column are simulated, a base is provided for subsequent ground stick colored drawing, steel and wood combination wrapping and inlaying are prefabricated in a factory and then directly spliced and welded on site, and the time and cost of on-site construction are reduced.
