The invention relates to a wood wrapping and embedding structure based on a concrete column and a construction method.The wood wrapping and embedding structure comprises the concrete column, a plurality of embedded parts and a steel-wood combined wrapping and embedding unit, the steel-wood combined wrapping and embedding unit is composed of two wrapping and embedding units, the concrete column is wrapped with the two wrapping and embedding units, and the wrapping and embedding units are fixedly connected with the concrete column through the embedded parts; each wrapping and embedding unit comprises an arc-shaped steel plate on the inner side and a plurality of wood veneers spliced together on the outer side. The method comprises the steps of material preparation; installing embedded parts and pouring concrete; polishing the concrete surface; splicing the steel-wood combined members; and wood wrapping and embedding appearance surface treatment. According to the wood wrapping and inlaying structure based on the concrete column and the construction method, antique decoration can be better conducted on concrete, the appearance characteristics and the hand feeling characteristics of the wood column are simulated, a base is provided for subsequent ground stick colored drawing, steel and wood combination wrapping and inlaying are prefabricated in a factory and then directly spliced and welded on site, and the time and cost of on-site construction are reduced.
