The invention relates to the technical field of house building, and discloses an anchor plate and reinforcing steel bar connecting structure and a construction method thereof.The anchor plate and reinforcing steel bar connecting structure comprises vertical reinforcing steel bars, horizontal reinforcing steel bars and a box-type anchor plate, and the box-type anchor plate comprises a first side plate arranged in the width direction of a vertical component and a second side plate arranged in the thickness direction of the vertical component; a closed structure is defined by the first side plate and the second side plate, the top and the bottom of the box-type anchor plate are each of an open structure, and the interior of the box-type anchor plate is of a hollow structure. Vertical ribs are additionally arranged, and the vertical ribs are arranged on the inner side and the outer side of each second side plate; the horizontal steel bars form a disconnected structure at the box-type anchor plate, and the disconnected positions of the horizontal steel bars are fixedly connected with the box-type anchor plate. The box-type anchor plate replaces an existing double-anchor-plate structure, connecting ribs are not arranged between the first side plate and the second side plate of the box-type anchor plate any more, and therefore construction operation does not need to be carried out in the anchor plate after the box-type anchor plate is installed, and the influence on anchor plate assembly caused by the distance between the sections of vertical components and too dense connecting ribs is eliminated.
