The invention relates to the field of vibration control, in particular to a vertical damping device introduced with a particle damper, which comprises a device shell, a central threaded rod, a particle damping unit and a viscous damping unit, and two different particle devices are staggered in the particle damping unit along the radial direction and the circumferential direction; the particle damping unit and the viscous damping unit are connected through a fan-shaped partition plate and a directional connecting piece, inserted into the viscous damping unit, of the particle damping unit. The viscous damping unit internally comprises viscous liquid and a fan-shaped partition plate with a damping channel; threads with balls are arranged on the innermost side of the particle damping unit, the particle damping unit is meshed with a center threaded rod fixed to the device shell, and the particle damping unit and the viscous damping unit are connected with a top plate and a bottom plate of the device shell through first springs. Compared with the prior art, the damping device has the advantages of being capable of being automatically adjusted, having multiple energy consumption mechanisms, having a good damping effect and the like.
