The invention discloses a construction method of a refuge storey at the top of an ultrahigh atrium, which comprises the following steps: step 1, early-stage construction: firstly constructing a foundation and a basement part, and then constructing a main building structure; secondly, a high-altitude platform is built, a protective outer frame of a main building structure is locally dismantled, and the high-altitude platform is built on the top of the atrium; thirdly, a refuge floor is constructed, a supporting frame is built on the high-altitude platform, formwork erecting of a concrete pouring formwork is conducted after building is completed, concrete pouring is conducted after formwork erecting is completed, and the concrete pouring formwork is removed after building is completed; and fourthly, the high-altitude platform is dismantled, the supporting frame on the high-altitude platform is dismantled, the hoisting equipment is connected with the high-altitude platform, the connecting position of the high-altitude platform and the top of the atrium is cut, and then the whole cut high-altitude platform is conveyed to the designated position through the hoisting equipment. According to the method, the high-altitude formwork erecting difficulty is reduced, the construction period is shortened, and the construction safety is improved.
