The invention discloses a beam hoisting method and an auxiliary mounting tool, and the method comprises the following steps: S1, locking a first beam component and a beam connecting plate, so that the beam connecting plate is attached and fixed to a beam web of the first beam component; s2, the first beam component, the beam connecting plate and the second beam component are hoisted and moved, so that a beam web of the first beam component and a beam web of the second beam component are distributed in a coplanar mode and spliced with each other; s3, the first beam component and the beam connecting plate are unlocked, and the beam connecting plate is pushed, pulled and moved towards the joint of the first beam component and the second beam component; and S4, the two ends of the beam connecting plate are attached to and fixed to the beam web of the first beam component and the beam web of the second beam component correspondingly. According to the beam hoisting method, the beam connecting plate is hoisted along with part of the beam components, when all the beam components are spliced in place, the mounting position of the beam connecting plate between the beam components is adjusted, and finally the beam connecting plate, the first beam component and the second beam component are fixedly connected, so that the operation difficulty can be reduced, and the operation safety of constructors is improved.
