The invention discloses a wall for building decoration, comprising: a slide rail mounted on a roof and a floor in a U shape with openings opposite to each other; the two layers of wallboards are vertically arranged in the sliding rail and distributed on the two sides of the sliding rail, and the two ends of each wallboard are each provided with a groove allowing the two wing plates of the sliding rail to be embedded in; the supporting frame is arranged between the two ends of the two layers of wallboards and used for pressing and fixing the wallboards to the two wing plates of the sliding rail; and the sealing plate is arranged at the end part of the sliding rail and is used for covering the wall plate. Compared with the prior art, the wallboard has the following advantages and effects that by adopting the wallboards which are matched in a clamping mode and are mutually locked and fixed, the assembling process of the wall is easy and convenient, efficient construction operation can be conducted on site, the construction period is shortened, meanwhile, proper colors and styles can be selected in the wallboard production process, the wallboards do not need to be decorated again in the later period, and cost is reduced.
