Water-damage-resistant and storable cold patch asphalt mixture and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the technical field of road asphalt materials, and discloses a water-damage-resistant and storable cold patch asphalt mixture and a preparation method thereof. The cold patch asphalt mixture comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of matrix asphalt, 1.5-9.5 parts of a modifier, 15-40 parts of a diluent and 1950-2700 parts of aggregate, wherein the modifier comprises SEBS (Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene); and the use amount of the matrix asphalt and the modifier is 4.0-5.2% of the mass of the aggregate. By optimizing the components of the cold patch asphalt mixture, adding the specific modifier and controlling the mass of the modifier and the matrix asphalt and the use amount of the relative aggregate, the residual stability and the freeze-thaw splitting strength of the cold patch asphalt mixture are improved compared with those of an unmodified cold patch asphalt mixture; and after being stored for a period of time, the product can be taken at any time, and subsequent procedures and working performance are not affected, so that the water damage resistance and the storage stability are enhanced.
