The invention discloses environment-friendly dry-mixed mortar and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of mixed mortar. Comprising the following steps: crushing the water-quenched slag; performing a screening process to remove large particles; fully stirring and fusing the water-quenched slag, the fly ash and the cement according to the designed filling amount, and stirring the cellulose ether, the biological starch and the redispersible latex powder curing agent; fusing and stirring; and sealing, filling and warehousing. By utilizing industrial solid wastes such as tailings, the utilization of general industrial solid wastes is improved, the environmental pollution after the solid wastes are discarded is relieved, the energy is saved, the environment is protected, the solid waste raw materials such as tailings are low in cost and wide in source, and the production cost is reduced; the cellulose ether, the biological starch and the redispersible latex powder curing material can effectively control microcracks caused by factors such as plastic shrinkage, dry shrinkage and temperature change of the mortar, prevent formation and development of primary cracks, greatly improve the anti-cracking and anti-seepage performance and abrasion resistance of the mortar and increase the toughness of the mortar, so that the service life of the mortar is prolonged.
