The invention provides an ultra-large area ground hollowing prevention construction method which comprises the following steps that plain soil is backfilled, specifically, plain soil is evenly laid in a foundation pit and compacted to form a plain soil backfilling layer; graded sandstone backfilling is conducted, specifically, graded sandstone is matched according to the proportion and then laid on the top of the plain soil backfilling layer; ground reinforcing steel bar construction is conducted, and prefabricated meshes are laid on the top of the backfilled graded gravel layer in a single-layer mode; rigid layer construction and maintenance, wherein steel fiber reinforced concrete is pumped and poured in a sky pump mode and leveled; joint cutting is conducted, specifically, 12-24 h after rigid layer construction is completed, the bottom face is cut according to the column axis; caulking maintenance is conducted, the position of a kerf is cleaned up, and the kerf of the pavement is filled with a crack pouring material; the plain soil backfill layer is formed below the rigid layer through plain soil backfill, the graded sandstone layer is formed through graded sandstone backfill, stable support is provided for the bottom of the rigid layer, stability is high, and hollowing caused by sedimentation is not prone to occurring.
