The invention discloses an algae cleaning ship which comprises a biological fermentation tank used for carrying out biological fermentation on algae to obtain methane; the methane fuel cell comprises an anode fuel tank and a cathode fuel tank, an anode electrode is arranged in the anode fuel tank, a cathode electrode is arranged in the cathode fuel tank, methane generated by the biological fermentation tank enters the anode electrode and is oxidized by oxidizing bacteria to generate electrons and protons, the electrons are transmitted to an anode cable through the anode electrode, and the protons are transmitted to a cathode cable through the cathode electrode. The protons enter the cathode fuel tank to be combined with oxygen and electrons provided by the cathode electrode to form water, and the methane fuel cell is used for supplying power to a propelling mechanism arranged on the ship body. According to the cleaning ship, the algae are fermented to generate methane while the algae are collected, the methane is used for generating power, then the power is used as a power source of the propelling mechanism, effective utilization of the algae is achieved, and the trouble of supplementing energy is basically avoided.
