The invention discloses a water reducing method and system for ceramic slurry, and relates to the field of ceramic tiles. Specifically, the water reducing method of the ceramic slurry comprises the following steps: (1) providing a first slurry, the water content of which is 34-38 wt%; (2) dehydrating a first preset amount of the first slurry into a mud cake with the water content of 16-22wt%; (3) crushing the mud cake to obtain mud blocks; and (4) mixing the clods with a second preset amount of the first slurry to obtain a second slurry, the water content of which is 29-33 wt%. By implementing the method, the powder preparation energy consumption can be reduced.
