The invention relates to a large railway station building steel structure roof rapid construction method which comprises the following construction steps that (1) a crane walking route, a hoisting area, a sliding area and a lifting area are arranged, the hoisting area and the sliding area are arranged on the two sides of the crane walking route, and the lifting area is located on the other side of the sliding area; (2) supporting frames are erected in the hoisting area and the sliding area respectively, an assembling platform is erected in the hoisting area, structural columns are arranged in the lifting area, and lifting frame structures are arranged on the structural columns; (3) assembling materials are hoisted to the assembling platform, and roof structures and roof sliding units of the hoisting area and the sliding area are assembled; (4) the roof structure of the lifting area is spliced and integrally lifted in place; (5) the assembled roof sliding unit is installed on the supporting frame of the sliding area, the roof sliding unit comprises a plurality of sliding rails, and pushing devices are arranged at the front ends of the sliding rails; (6) the roof structure is pushed to slide in the length direction of the sliding rail; and 7) carrying out independent synchronous batch unloading on each area.
