The invention provides a control method of a cleaning robot, a control device of the cleaning robot, the cleaning robot and a computer readable storage medium, and relates to the technical field of cleaning equipment. The method is applied to the cleaning robot executing an underwater cleaning task, the cleaning robot and a terminal are in a communication connection state, and the method comprises the steps that a movement control instruction sent by the terminal is received; moving to a target area according to the moving control instruction; receiving a cleaning control instruction sent by the terminal; and cleaning the target area according to a cleaning strategy corresponding to the cleaning control instruction. According to the method, the fixed point area containing dirt can be precisely cleaned, the problems that the cleaning range of the cleaning robot is too large and cleaning is not thorough are effectively solved, and the cleaning efficiency and accuracy of the cleaning robot are improved.
