The invention discloses energy-saving and environment-friendly ceramsite processed by utilizing waste and a preparation method. The energy-saving and environment-friendly ceramsite comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10-18 parts of a water-absorbent resin solution, 30-40 parts of building crushed aggregates, 20-26 parts of sodium borate, 15-17 parts of rice bran powder, 10-14 parts of a toughening agent, 20-30 parts of silica, 5-15 parts of clay, 13-15 parts of fly ash and 80-100 parts of distilled water. According to the energy-saving and environment-friendly ceramsite processed by utilizing the waste materials and the preparation method, sodium borate is used as a pore-forming agent, pores are formed in the surface and the interior of the ceramsite, and a wire-drawing-shaped supporting frame is formed in the pores in cooperation with a toughening agent, so that the toughness of the ceramsite is ensured; the water-absorbent resin solution has the capability of absorbing water hundreds to thousands of times heavier than the water, can slowly release water for a long time, greatly improves the water retention capacity of the ceramsite, and meanwhile, the water-absorbent resin solution releases water in the curing process, so that the curing difficulty of the ceramsite is reduced.
