The invention relates to an open caisson sudden sinking prevention structure which comprises horizontal steel beams and vertical supporting legs, one ends of the two horizontal steel beams are inserted into reserved grooves in the wall of an open caisson respectively, the other ends of the two horizontal steel beams are connected into an integral horizontal steel beam through bolts, and each horizontal steel beam is supported on a bottom soil layer through the corresponding vertical supporting leg.
