The invention discloses a drainage ditch connecting device suitable for an expansion joint of a pile foundation wharf and a preparation method of the drainage ditch connecting device. The drainage ditch connecting device comprises an upper-layer steel drainage ditch, a lower-layer steel drainage ditch and a rubber sealing plate, and the rubber sealing plate is arranged between the upper-layer steel drainage ditch and the lower-layer steel drainage ditch; the lower-layer steel drainage ditch is fixed in a drainage ditch on the left side of the wharf expansion joint through pre-burying and is tightly attached to the expansion joint; bolt holes are formed in the upper-layer steel drainage ditch, the lower-layer steel drainage ditch and the middle rubber sealing plate and used for containing bolts, and the length of the bolt holes in the upper-layer steel drainage ditch is far larger than the diameter of the bolts. Through the design, the drainage ditches on the two sides of the wharf branch are connected, and the drainage system is communicated; and when the structures on the two sides of the wharf subsection are subjected to differential settlement or differential displacement, the upper-layer steel drainage ditch can move in the lower-layer drainage ditch so as to overcome the displacement generated by settlement.
