The invention provides a cable-stayed bridge girder construction method which comprises the following steps: S1, after construction of a main pier is completed, mounting a bracket on the upper part of the main pier to complete one-time pouring of an initial section; s2, the two main piers are constructed synchronously, after the concrete strength and the elastic modulus of the initial section reach preset parameters, side span cast-in-place section construction and middle span cast-in-place section construction are conducted on the two sides of each pier body correspondingly, and the side span cast-in-place sections and the middle span cast-in-place sections are divided into a plurality of sections; and S3, the side span closure section constructed to the closure section is poured in an asynchronous construction mode, and then the middle span closure section is poured. The mode that the side span cast-in-place section and the middle span cast-in-place section are constructed synchronously is adopted, the construction efficiency is guaranteed, by means of the length difference between the middle span and the side span, side span closure section pouring is conducted firstly, then middle span closure section pouring is conducted, and side span closure is conducted quickly and economically.
