The water adding pipe head is arranged on the horizontal rotating seat, an electric ball valve is connected between one end of the water adding pipe head and the water supply pipeline, and the water outlet end of the water adding pipe head is vertically bent downwards; the gas hanging path is arranged along the wall surface of the coal mine tunnel; the gas pipeline is connected with a high-pressure gas source; the air cylinder is connected between the fixing frame and the horizontal rotating seat, and an air valve is connected between the air cylinder and the gas pipeline. The invention further provides a self-help water adding method for coal mine tunnel cleaning, and the self-help water adding method is implemented by adopting the self-help water adding system for coal mine tunnel cleaning.
