The invention discloses a heavy type vertical rod assembling and disassembling device which comprises an installation structure, and the installation structure comprises an installation plate, a containing cylinder, an angle plate and a locking piece. The clamping structure comprises a linkage piece, a bottom supporting frame, an upper clamping piece and a clamping air cylinder, the linkage piece is inserted into the tail end of the containing cylinder and is in threaded connection with the locking piece, and then the locking piece is rotationally attached to the back face of the mounting plate; the bottom support frame is provided with a bearing frame, upper clamping pieces, a side mounting frame, a first bearing plate and two groups of lower clamping pieces locked on the first bearing plate, and the two lower clamping pieces correspond to the two upper clamping pieces; the reversing structure comprises a reversing air cylinder, a lug plate and a rotating piece, the stress load of the whole instrument can be improved through pressure bearing and force unloading of the same plate, stable supporting can be achieved even if two telegraph poles are clamped at the same time, and therefore transverse single-point pressure bearing and longitudinal double-point clamping can be guaranteed; and the transportation process and the rod erecting process are beneficially promoted.
