The invention relates to a sun-shading device and an automobile. The sun-shading device comprises a base, a support, an awning and a first driving unit. The base is used for being connected with an automobile body, or the base is formed on the automobile body, and the support is installed on the base and connected with the awning. The first driving unit is connected with one end of the support and used for applying force to the support to enable the other end of the support to move so as to be away from or close to the base and the automobile body. When the other end of the support is far away from the base and the automobile body, the support can drive the sunshade to be unfolded, so that the shadow area of the automobile can be increased, and a better sunshade effect can be provided for people. When the other end of the support is close to the automobile body, the support can drive the sunshade to be folded, so that the adverse effect of the sunshade device on the automobile body can be reduced, and the automobile body can be driven normally.
