The invention discloses a cement-based tile adhesive shrinkage reducing material, a preparation method thereof, cement-based tile adhesive and a building wall. The cement-based tile adhesive shrinkage reducing material comprises: 100 parts by weight of slag powder; 40 to 100 parts by weight of silica fume based on 100 parts by weight of slag powder; 20 to 100 parts by weight of light calcined magnesia powder based on 100 parts by weight of slag powder; 20 to 100 parts by weight of calcined kaolin based on 100 parts by weight of slag powder; 10 parts by weight to 33.33 parts by weight of reinforcing fibers based on 100 parts by weight of slag powder; and 2-10 parts by weight of a water reducing agent based on 100 parts by weight of slag powder. According to the cement-based tile glue shrinkage reducing material, under the combined action of the components, shrinkage of tile glue can be remarkably reduced in the hydration process of cement, the shrinkage reducing effect can be achieved after curing, and the tile glue has the continuous and stable shrinkage reducing effect. The later bonding strength of the ceramic tile adhesive can also be improved.
