The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, and provides a large-span prestress vault structure construction method and device.The method comprises the following steps that a to-be-constructed vault structure is divided into a plurality of sliding assembling units in the sliding direction; sliding rails are installed at the two ends of the vault structure; a sliding trolley is installed on the starting section of the sliding rail; the sliding seat, connected with the beam base and the upper section steel column, of one sliding assembly unit is installed on the sliding trolley; a supporting jig frame is erected, an arched beam of the sliding assembling unit is assembled, and the arched beam is connected with beam bases at the two ends of the arched beam; a tensioning steel strand is installed and tensioned; a traction device is used for pulling the sliding trolley to move to the target position of the sliding assembly unit on the sliding rail; the steps are repeated until all the sliding assembling units of the arch crown structure are installed; and the supporting jig frame, the prestress tensioning steel strand and the sliding rail are dismantled. The construction progress is accelerated, social resources are saved, and the engineering cost is saved.
