The invention discloses a treading type centipede ladder which comprises a centipede ladder body and a pull rope connected to the upper end of the centipede ladder body and used for keeping the centipede ladder body vertical on the ground, the upper end of the centipede ladder body is rotationally connected with a reversing wheel, a treading type winch is arranged at the lower end of the centipede ladder body, and a safety rope is wound on the treading type winch. The pedal type winch comprises a roller rotationally connected to one side of the lower end of the centipede ladder body and a gear rotationally connected to the other side of the lower end of the centipede ladder body, the roller and the gear are in transmission connection through a one-way bearing, and an anti-rotation mechanism is arranged on the side, close to the roller, of the centipede ladder body; the centipede ladder body is slidably connected with a rack which extends in the vertical direction and is engaged with the gear, and the rack is fixedly connected with a driving plate. According to the treading type centipede ladder, an operator is assisted to climb upwards in the mode of repeatedly treading the driving plate with feet, and shaking of the centipede ladder body is reduced.
