The invention provides a vehicle transport system, a vehicle transport method, and a storage medium. A vehicle transport system includes: a vehicle-mounted system mounted on a vehicle; and a vehicle transport device configured so as to be capable of communicating with the in-vehicle system and capable of transporting the vehicle by autonomous travel. The vehicle conveying device is configured to transmit a confirmation signal for confirming the presence or absence of a remote operation request to the vehicle-mounted system when a vehicle is conveyed; and allowing remote operation from within the vehicle upon receiving a request signal from the in-vehicle system that wishes remote operation.
