The invention provides a bridge erection construction method, which belongs to the technical field of bridge construction, and comprises the following steps: mounting a main bridge pier and auxiliary bridge piers, transporting a temporary bracket to fall on the two groups of auxiliary bridge piers by utilizing a buoyancy tank device, and mounting a lifting rotator on the temporary bracket; two buoyancy tank devices are in butt joint to form a combined buoyancy tank, and a telescopic mechanism is arranged between the two buoyancy tank devices. Lifting rotators are mounted on the two buoyancy tank devices; a steel beam is installed on a lifting rotator on one buoyancy tank device, and a telescopic mechanism is started to control the other buoyancy tank device to move to the other side of the temporary support; the lifting rotators are started to control the steel beam to rotate by 90 degrees, so that the steel beam is supported on the two lifting rotators; and the lifting rotator on the temporary support is started to drive the steel beam to rotate by 90 degrees and to be supported on the main pier. According to the bridge erecting construction method, a dragging method and the like do not need to be used in cooperation with a floating transportation method for operation, the installation efficiency is improved, and meanwhile the construction cost cannot be increased.
