The invention discloses a construction method for repairing a damaged old aqueduct through a prefabricated steel structure aqueduct. The construction method comprises the steps that firstly, the fracture length of the old aqueduct, the distance between buttresses at the two ends of the fracture position of the old aqueduct and the width and height of the old aqueduct are measured; then, according to the measured structure, a steel structure aqueduct, a longitudinal beam and a plurality of cross beam frames are prefabricated; the longitudinal beams, the steel structure aqueduct and part of the cross beam frame are connected into an integrated structure, then connecting pieces are implanted into the two sides of the two buttresses correspondingly, and bracket frames are installed through the implanted connecting pieces; the steel structure aqueduct is hoisted to the fracture position of an old aqueduct through a crane, the two ends of a longitudinal beam are supported on the bracket frames on the same sides of the two buttresses, and then the two ends of the longitudinal beam are fixedly connected with the bracket frames; and the remaining cross beam frames are installed at the position of the old aqueduct, the cross beam frames are connected with the longitudinal beams, and the cross beam frames are connected with the bottom of the old aqueduct and support the old aqueduct. The aqueduct repairing method has the effect of shortening the aqueduct repairing period.
