The cleaning method comprises the following steps that the length of a river channel is determined, and an isolation box for dividing the river channel and a sewage suction purification vehicle are moved to the position near the river channel; the thickness of sludge in the river channel is detected; the isolation box provided with the two isolation cavities is placed in the river channel through a crane; a sewage suction pipe of a sewage suction purification vehicle is inserted into one isolation cavity of the isolation box, the sewage suction purification vehicle is started, sludge and water in the isolation box are sucked into the sewage suction purification vehicle, and a flocculating agent is added to separate sludge from water; after being separated in the sewage suction purification vehicle, the sludge and the water are discharged through a drainage pipe I of the sewage suction purification vehicle. According to the sludge cleaning method, cleaning can be conducted when the water depth in the river channel is large, and the sludge at the lower end of the bridge opening can be washed through the drainage pipe II 9 to be cleaned.
