The invention discloses a door and window lock seat and a mounting method thereof. The lock seat comprises two clamping hooks, an anti-falling buckle and a set screw. The door and window lock bracket mounting method comprises the following steps that a, a lock bracket is adjusted to be in a vertical state, and then the first connecting end of the lock bracket is placed in an accessory mounting groove of a window body profile; b, the lock seat is rotated, so that the clamping hook is buckled in the accessory mounting groove of the window body profile, and a space allowing the anti-falling buckle to enter the accessory mounting groove is reserved; c, the second connecting end is placed into the accessory mounting groove, and the lock seat is rotated to enable the anti-falling buckle to buckle the accessory mounting groove; d, tightening a set screw to enable a first positioning stop surface and a second positioning stop surface of the lock seat to be tightly attached to the proximate matter nearby the first positioning stop surface and the second positioning stop surface; step e, when the lock seat needs to be debugged, screwing an elastic fastening screw, moving the lock seat, searching a proper position matched with the lock point, and then screwing the fastening screw after the position is determined; and f, the lock seat is fixed through a self-tapping screw. The installation time can be shortened, the production cost is reduced, and the debugging speed is high.
