The invention discloses an electric louver, a control method thereof and a sunshade system applying the electric louver. The electric louver part comprises a frame, a plurality of first louver blades, a plurality of second louver blades and a motor assembly, and the first louver blades and the second louver blades are arranged at intervals; a light diffusion assembly is arranged between each first louver blade and the corresponding second louver blade, one side of each light diffusion assembly is fixedly connected with the corresponding second louver blade, and the other side of each light diffusion assembly is connected with the corresponding first louver blade in a magnetic attraction mode; the motor assembly is arranged in the frame, the motor assembly controls the opening and closing angles of the first louver blade and the second louver blade so that the light diffusion assembly can form a light-in face and a light-out face, external light enters from the light-in face and is emitted out from the light-out face into a room, and due to light diffusion treatment, the indoor illumination intensity is more uniform; when the opening and closing angle of the first louver blade and the second louver blade is larger than the preset value, the light diffusion assembly is attached to the first louver blade, and light rays are not subjected to diffusion treatment.
