The invention discloses an underground space frame structure and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the field of building construction. Comprising a vertical supporting pile and a multi-layer horizontal component, the vertical supporting pile comprises a pile body which is located in a formed pile hole before excavation of a foundation pit and is vertically arranged, the pile body comprises an upper pile body and a lower pile body, the upper pile body is a cuboid cylinder, and the lower pile body is a cylindrical body; an expansion body section is arranged between the upper pile body and the lower pile body, and the size of the cross section of the expansion body section is larger than that of the cross sections of the upper pile body and the lower pile body; the upper pile body, the expansion body section and the lower pile body are sequentially arranged in the pile hole from top to bottom in a central axis coincidence mode and are integrally formed. The multiple layers of horizontal members are constructed and connected to the vertical supporting piles layer by layer from top to bottom in the foundation pit excavation process. The reverse construction sequence from top to bottom is adopted, no foundation pit exists in underground space construction, scaffolds are not needed in beam and slab construction, resource investment is greatly reduced, the construction period is shortened, and safety is improved.
