The invention relates to a safety isolation device for a construction site. The safety isolation device comprises a plurality of isolation plates, and the corresponding ends of every two adjacent isolation plates are connected through two hinge mechanisms; the hinge structure comprises a first hinge piece, a second hinge piece, a first baffle ring, a mounting rod, a first baffle block and a first reset spring; the first hinge piece is fixed at the end part of the isolation plate, and a first connecting hole which is through up and down is formed in the first hinge piece; the second hinge pieces are fixed to the ends of the adjacent isolation plates, second connecting holes penetrating up and down are formed in the second hinge pieces, and the positions of the second connecting holes correspond to the positions of the first connecting holes; the first baffle ring is fixed at the inner bottom of the first connecting hole; the mounting rod penetrates through the first baffle ring in a sliding manner; the first stop block is fixedly arranged on the mounting rod in a sleeving manner; the first reset spring is arranged on the mounting rod in a sleeving mode and located between the first check block and the first check ring. The device does not need to be assembled and disassembled on site, the construction period can be shortened, and the unfolding angle of the isolation plate can be conveniently adjusted and fixed.
