The photovoltaic panel self-cleaning method comprises the steps that the water storage amount in a water storage tank is obtained, and whether the water storage amount is smaller than a first preset water amount or not is judged; if yes, according to the pollution degree of the photovoltaic panel unit, the spraying part at the heavily polluted photovoltaic panel unit is started preferentially, and the spraying part sprays towards the corresponding photovoltaic panel unit; if not, whether the water storage amount is larger than a second preset water amount or not is judged; if the water storage amount is smaller than or equal to the second preset water amount, the spraying part sprays towards the corresponding photovoltaic panel unit at the first flow for a first preset time; if the water storage amount is greater than the second preset water amount, the spraying part sprays towards the corresponding photovoltaic panel unit for a second preset time at a second flow; the second flow is greater than the first flow, and/or the second preset time is greater than the first preset time. According to the photovoltaic panel self-cleaning method, the photovoltaic panel can be reasonably cleaned according to the water storage amount in the water storage tank, and the cleaning effect is guaranteed.
