The invention provides a flue gas desulfurization lime slaking tank and a pulping method thereof.The flue gas desulfurization lime slaking tank comprises a tank body, the top of the tank body is connected with an exhaust pipe and a discharging pipe, and the side wall of the tank body is connected with an overflow pipe; a water supplementing device is arranged at the top of the tank body and is configured to convey water into the tank body through the inner side wall of the tank body and the exhaust pipe; the discharging pipe and the overflow pipe are both connected with a compressed air blowing device, and the compressed air blowing device is configured to convey compressed air to the end, close to the tank body, in the discharging pipe and the end, close to the tank body, in the overflow pipe.
