The invention relates to a folding cover (1) for a swimming pool (100). The cover comprises a folded cover material (2), a plurality of supports (3) extending across the cover material to fold or unfold the cover material, and two support units (10) arranged on opposite sides of the cover (1) to rotatably attach outer ends of the plurality of supports (3). The support unit includes an attachment mechanism for removably attaching the support unit to the pool. The attachment mechanism (12) is arranged for adjustable clamping between adjacent legs (102) of a pool.
