The invention discloses an installation construction method of a separated steel box girder, which is used for installing the separated steel box girder between a first pier and a second pier, and the first pier and the second pier are respectively provided with a first connecting end and a second connecting end; the separated type steel box girder comprises a plurality of sections, the sections are fixedly connected through welding, each section comprises at least two assembly structures, and the installation construction method of the separated type steel box girder comprises the following steps that (1) a cable hoisting system is built; (2) one section of the separated steel box girder is taken and fixed to the first connecting end to serve as a construction foundation of a subsequent section; (3) fixing the other section of the separated steel box girder with the previous section, and taking a new previous section as a construction foundation of the subsequent section, and (4) repeating the step (3) until the last section of the separated steel box girder is fixedly connected with the second connecting end mounted on the second bridge pier, so as to finish the mounting construction of the separated steel box girder.
