The invention discloses a construction method of a vertical component of an assembled residential structure, which comprises the following steps: cutting a steel plate with a corresponding size according to a prefabricated component to be constructed, and then forming a steel bar via hole corresponding to the position of a steel bar in the vertical component in the steel plate to complete the manufacturing of a positioning bar; a mold is laid at a designated position, meanwhile, a release agent is smeared on the inner wall of the mold, and then a heat preservation layer is formed in the mold through splicing of a plurality of heat preservation plates; the sleeve is arranged on the to-be-poured steel bar in a sleeving mode, then the sleeve is fixed in the mold, then the to-be-poured steel bar is fixed through the positioning rib, and the positioning rib and the mold are kept fixed; concrete is poured into the mold, and a mold vibrator is started; after the concrete in the mold is solidified, the adhesive tape and the sleeve are removed, and the positioning rib is taken down; and the steel bar connectors are maintained, then demolding is conducted, and manufacturing of the vertical component is completed.
