The hot-pressed zinc sulfide powder treatment method comprises the following steps: S1, weighing required zinc sulfide powder according to dosage; s2, the zinc sulfide powder and deionized water are added into a quartz container and stirred, and a glass stirrer is adopted for stirring so that impurities in the zinc sulfide powder can be fully blended into the deionized water; the mixing ratio of the zinc sulfide powder to the deionized water is less than 1: 10, and the stirring time is at least 30 minutes; s3, dehydrating the mixture by adopting a centrifugal machine, wherein the rotating speed of the centrifugal machine is at least 3000r/min; s4, drying the product in the step S3 in a vacuum tube furnace to obtain a zinc sulfide baking body; the drying temperature is 80-120 DEG C, and the drying time is 8-10 hours; and S5, grinding the zinc sulfide baking body, and screening by adopting a 200-mesh non-metal filter screen. The zinc sulfide powder is purified through the treatment method provided by the invention, and the phenomena of air holes, cloud mist and impurity black spots in the hot-pressed zinc sulfide material prepared from the zinc sulfide powder are effectively solved.
