The invention relates to a local pit small self-priming pump well point dewatering device and a construction method thereof.The self-priming pump well point dewatering device comprises a protection pipe, a well point pipe, a self-priming pump, a water collecting tank, a pumping and draining pump and a pipeline assembly, the protection pipe is installed in a hole formed by drilling through a mechanical drilling method or a water flushing method and forms a pipe well, and the well point pipe is inserted into the protection pipe; the lower half section of the well point pipe is wrapped by a filter screen, a plurality of water suction holes are formed in the side wall of the lower half section of the well point pipe, a plug is arranged at the bottom of the well point pipe, the water suction holes are located in the filter screen, and a gap between the well point pipe and the protective pipe is filled with filter materials. A water inlet pipe of the self-priming pump is connected with the top of the well point pipe through a pipeline assembly, and a water outlet pipe of the self-priming pump is connected with a water collecting tank. A water inlet pipe of the pump is connected with the water collecting tank. The device is relatively simple in structure, convenient to process and manufacture, flexible in mounting position, simple to operate, convenient to manage and convenient to assemble and disassemble, and has the advantages of high rainfall speed, safety and reliability.
