The invention provides a baffle lifting mechanism for cleaning equipment and the cleaning equipment. The baffle lifting mechanism comprises an actuating assembly, a transmission assembly and a baffle assembly which are assembled together. The actuating assembly is used for receiving external actuating force and is used for being rotationally connected with a main body frame of the cleaning equipment, and therefore lever motion can be conducted. The transmission assembly employs a camshaft, the shaft portion of which may be connected to the actuation assembly and the cam portion may be connected to the baffle assembly. In this way, the actuating assembly can drive the transmission assembly to move in the lever motion process, and therefore the baffle assembly is driven to ascend. After the external actuating force is removed, the baffle assembly can descend to the state before ascending by means of the gravity of the baffle assembly. Therefore, the structure of the baffle lifting mechanism for the cleaning equipment is simplified, the corresponding manufacturing and assembling processes are reduced, and then the corresponding cost is reduced.
