A wall frame bracket (10) for securing a head piece (12) to a strut (14). The bracket (10) includes a back plate (16) configured to be secured to the strut (14), and opposite sides (18, 20) extending from the back plate (16). The sides (18, 20) are spaced apart to allow placement against and secured to opposing surfaces (22, 24) of the head piece (12). One of the sides (18) defines an opening (26) allowing access to the other side (20) for one or more fasteners (28) to pass therethrough and secure into the head piece (12). A wall frame assembly (100) comprising the bracket (10) is also disclosed.
