The invention relates to a method for preparing a cemented filling material by using water glass to excite coal gasification slag, which comprises the following steps: collecting solid residues after coal gasification, drying in the sun, and grinding into ultrafine powder by using a planetary ball mill; coal gangue is collected and crushed; respectively adding water glass with different mixing amounts into the prepared ultrafine powder; uniformly stirring cement, the prepared fine aggregate, the medium aggregate, the coarse aggregate and the superfine coal gasification slag powder containing the exciting agent, and adding water to form a cemented filling material; and filling the filling material slurry into a mold, and curing in a curing room. The problem that the volcanic ash activity of the coal gasification slag is low can be solved, the problems of shortage of cemented filling materials and high filling cost in the cemented filling mining process are effectively controlled, sustainable development is guaranteed, the widely-stacked coal gasification slag is effectively utilized, and the coal gasification slag is recycled. The pollution hazard to the surrounding environment and the occupation of large-scale land are reduced.
