The invention discloses a curing agent for rapidly curing waste slurry by using modified magnesium phosphate cement and a preparation method of the curing agent, and belongs to the technical field of building materials, and the method can be used for treating the waste slurry produced in civil engineering construction and tunnel engineering. The curing agent comprises the following components in parts by mass: 8-12 parts of magnesium phosphate cement, 6-8 parts of quick lime, 6-8 parts of blast furnace slag and 4-6 parts of sodium silicate. Compared with the prior art, the magnesium phosphate cement is modified, so that the cured waste slurry has higher strength. According to the invention, by mixing and stirring with the waste slurry and curing for 3d, 7d, 14d and 28d, a large amount of hydration gelling products are formed through a series of hydration reactions, so that on one hand, industrial solid wastes such as blast furnace slag and the price of a quick lime material are low, and the curing treatment cost is reduced; and on the other hand, the strength and water resistance of the waste slurry solidified soil body are improved, so that the strength is quickly improved in a short time, and the water erosion resistance is better.
